North Aegean Boat Show

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the first North Aegean Boat Show held in Fanari, Rhodope—a crossroads of cultures.

This event marks the beginning of a new era for yachting and tourism in the North Aegean.

When the idea was born, we could not have imagined the massive turnout, with over 10,000 visitors from Greece and Balkan countries such as Romania, Turkey, and Bulgaria. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with a fleet of sailing boats and catamarans at the port of Fanari. Moreover, over 2,000 young visitors had the chance to explore the seabed aboard the semi-submersible NEMO, activities sponsored by the North Aegean Sailing Club to introduce people to the art of sailing and maritime culture.

Maritime tourism and yachting made their presence felt in the North Aegean, and Fanari set the pace.

As CEO of Northsailing and Founder-Instructor of the North Aegean Sailing Club, we continue to develop our activities in Fanari, which we are transforming into a modern sailing training center for all the Balkans.

This achievement was possible thanks to the collective effort of everyone involved. Specifically, we thank the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Municipality of Komotini, Athenian Yachts, North Sailing, the North Aegean Sailing Club, the Professional & Craft Chamber of Rhodope, and the Municipal Community of Fanari. Your enthusiasm and support truly made a difference.

We look forward to more successful events in the future! I would like to express my gratitude to the TEFAA department and the RED CROSS for their dedication and enthusiastic participation as volunteers at the exhibition. Your presence and tireless contribution significantly enhanced the impact of our efforts. Your commitment to supporting our goals and values demonstrated the power of teamwork and the importance of volunteerism. We are truly grateful to have such dedicated volunteers on our team.

A warm thank you to all participants, organizers, and visitors who contributed to the success of this event.

The vision we once doubted would materialize is today a tangible reality that continues to grow and evolve.
